Chronic, non-healing wounds that can destroy an individual’s mobility and quality of life currently affect between three and five million Americans. This health problem, often resulting from diabetes, venous insufficiency and other conditions, frustrates patients and caregivers.
The San Francisco Center for Advanced Wound Care at Seton Medical Center has treated over 3,000 patients suffering from difficult to heal wounds. At Seton Medical Center, we believe that Caring is Powerful Medicine. Most wounds that are treated at the Wound Care Center heal within 6 weeks. In fact, over 95% of the wounds that are treated heal fully. Using proven clinical pathways, specifically trained physicians and nurses, we provide comprehensive, individualized treatment to patients.
If you have a wound that is not healing, please call the San Francisco Center for Advanced Wound Care at (650) 991-6780 for a consultation. For emergency calls, you are instructed via the voice message to go to the nearest Emergency Room for evaluation.
